During our stay on the Greek island of Santorini, we took the local bus up from Fira to Oia to photograph the sunset and surroundings. It’s a very popular spot during sunsets, with great photo opportunities all around.
It’s always a good idea to get there well before sunset in order to secure a good spot for viewing and taking photos (especially if you plan to use a tripod for low-light shots). The best vantage points will be really crowded during tourist season (yes, even in mid-late September).
